about

Instrumental acoustic guitar album inspired by and dedicated to Michael Hedges. All of these songs are based on his "Breakfast in the Field" tuning (Low to high C G D D A D) . That tuning is altered on some of the songs. The title 1833 originally came from the fact that I recorded the album using Martin Guitars (Martin was founded in 1833). After googling 1833 I found out that the Leonid Meteor Shower happened in 1833. The cover painting is by Edmund Weiss.
