I was not like the other kids in school. I grew up in Miami Beach, Florida in the 80s and 90s. I discovered King Crimson via a discount cassette tape rack at Camelot Music at the Omni Mall. My first 3 tastes of KC were Islands, Lizard and USA. I was 11 years old... My Brain expanded with this incredible music flowing through me. I was learning the guitar precisely when this music hit me like a train. Classical lessons led me to experiment re-arranging KC for solo guitar. These arrangements that I created as a tween are what you hear on this record, made as a 38 years old. I hope these recordings bring out the beauty in the incredible compositions.
