about

Fernando Perdomo “The Leo August Album"
On Tuesday I am releasing this album. I have decided to call it a Fernando Perdomo album called "The Leo August Album" so it gets the audience it deserves.

It is a Concept Album.
The concept is that Leo August is Singer Songwriter on his Death Bed at the end of his battle with a deadly disease.
1. Final Stage - faced with "The End" Leo takes visitors at his hospital bed.. mostly fellow musicians and family members "I've got a lot to say.. but I don't have a lot of time"
2. Release - Leo pleads to his musician buddies to get their music out before it's too late.. Leo did not follow this advice.. only 1 single can be found on Itunes.. 2015's "California Moon"
3. Revealed. - Leo gives more advice and wisdom even though he starts to feel too ill to speak.. the drugs kick in
4. Float Away - Leo slips into a coma .. his visitors leave .. Leo is hallucinating ..
5. I'm Just Waiting for The Sun - Leo's dream about lost love.. his inner turmoil may have led to his illness.. Waiting for the Sun is a reference to the afterlife .. or whatever the hell happens when he kicks the bucket
6. Fade Out - The raw power of the drumbeat wakes Leo up .. he has so much more to say to his friends and family .. and he has some lofty plans for his deathbed experience
7. Gone Gone Gone Gone - Leo wakes up alone.. he realizes that all his friends and family are gone..
8. Sad Isolation - Looking out the hospital window.. Leo reflects on how much he misses the outside world..
9. We Will Survive - Leo sees the life on the street and smiles. The world will go on and prosper without him .. this eases his faltering mind
10. Don't Forget to Say Goodnight - Leo's last piece of advise.. scribbled on a napkin by his bed.. he is tired and weak.. he puts the napkin on the counter and dies.. RIP Leo August
